Consultation Fees & Rebates

Our practice aims to ensure that our services are accessible and available to all people.  Clients are encouraged to discuss severe financial hardship and difficulties they might have to afford fees with your therapist.

• The consultation fee for a 50 minute therapy session is $218. This is significantly less than fee recommended by the Australian Psychological Society. 
• Clients with a GP or Psychiatrist referral and a Mental Health Care Plan are eligible to receive a rebate of $141.85 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Clients who have reached their medicare rebate threshold will  be eligible for a higher rebate.

Clients accessing their therapy through a Workcover or Transport Accident Commission claim, need authorisation from the relevant insurance provider before the first scheduled appointment.  There may be an out of pocket fee for these clients.

Cancellation Policy

At least 24 hours notice is required for appointment changes and cancellations. We often have several clients requiring urgent and immediate appointments, and we would appreciate having the opportunity to offer them appointments that have been cancelled by others.

In the event that an appointment has been missed or insufficient time has been provided for a cancellation, the full therapy fee will be charged for that appointment.
